Throughout the series, Makima becomes a major antagonist for Denji and the other members of the Public Safety Devil Hunters as they work to stop her from carrying out her plans. Despite her immense power and influence, Makima ultimately meets her demise at the hands of Denji and the other Devil Hunters.
